Located just beyond the Portsmouth city limits, Greenland is a picturesque New England town on the banks of Great Bay. Just 13.6 square miles, the residential community boasts 18th century homes, Colonial farmhouses, as well as a variety of new construction. The presence of light industry along Route 33 has kept residential taxes low. Greenland elementary school is through the 8th grade and beyond that level, students attend Portsmouth High School.
